Hollywood, Covid-19, and the Future of Media

The Covid-19 crisis is reshaping every aspect of our lives and societies. This series will look at the impact of the pandemic on Hollywood and on the media and entertainment industries more  generally. We will speak with leading media industry figures well as creative professionals, considering the immediate impact of the crisis and responses as well as the future of media creation, distribution, and consumption in the wake of Covid-19. What will movie theaters, streaming platforms, and film festivals look like after Covid-19? How has the pandemic impacted big studios, smaller production companies, and independent media creators. What have writers, directors, television journalists, and editors been doing during quarantine. And what opportunities and challenges will they face afterward? What have audiences wanted during the crisis and what will they want going forward? And, finally, how will we tell the story of Covid-19?
